Mills Uniform Company, a leading retailer of school uniform programs since 1947, is hiring a Store Manager for our seasonal store at 5741 Christie Ave Suite 11 Emeryville, CA 94608. Mills is a multi-channel retailer that services many of the most respected independent schools in the country.

We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm with expanded hours Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm before school starts.

This is a temporary position for the summer from June 23, 2019- September 20, 2019.


RESPONSIBILITIES

* Understand the uniform programs of each account serviced

* Assist with set up and break down of new store

* Hire, train and lead store associates

* Provide excellent in-store customer service and sales assistance

* Resolve store level customer service issues

* Identify opportunities to provide additional products

* Provide compelling visual presentation

* Manage accurate inventory accuracy and stock levels

* Fulfill daily online orders and manage the fulfillment process

* Manage cash and daily reconciliation

* Manage local on-campus events

* Maintain a safe environment

Requirements

* 2+Manager or Supervisor experience in a retail environment A MUST

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Computer skills, MS Office (Word /Excel) with the ability to quickly learn retail/POS systems

* Ability to work with children and foster excellent interpersonal relationships with parents

* Ability to supervise others

* Ability to stoop, bend and stand for long periods of time

* Ability to carry and climb, sometimes while lifting stock weighing as much as 25 pounds
